Luran® S ECO acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) polymers feature high surface quality and good impact strength including enhanced color fastness. The products deliver superior long-term performance when exposed to UV irradiation and heat and additionally provide excellent chemical resistance. For these reasons, Luran S is the material of choice for exterior applications. To strengthen its position as the benchmark styrenic polymer for weather resistance, Luran S “SPF 30” was launched, offering state-of-the-art UV stabilization.

Luran S ECO is made using renewable feedstock, based on a mass balance process certified by ISCC PLUS. Luran S ECO is available with a renewable content of up to 50%. This results in a carbon footprint reduction of up to 58% compared to fossil-based Luran S.

Luran S ECO's feedstock sources, supply chain and production processes have been awarded ISCC PLUS certification and comply with the highest sustainability certification criteria. All of INEOS Styrolution’s bio-attributed products have identical physical and mechanical properties as their fossil-based counterparts, as well as all the same regulatory documents available. Therefore, when switching to INEOS Styrolution’s bio-attributed products, no new material approval processes are required.
