Nucrel AN4211-5C
About This Product
Nucrel AN4211-5C
NUCREL™ AN4211-5C resins are acid modified ethylene acrylate resins. They contain a temperature stable ester which makes them functional in high temperature coextrusions. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins.
Features
Better adhesion to aluminum metallized films, such as VM-CPP, without delamination between metallized aluminum and CPP
Excellent processibility at lower temperature, such as 200-220°C
Characteristics/Benefits
NUCREL™ AN4211-5C is designed to have good adhesion to metallized CPP in extrusion coating operation without delamination between metallized aluminum and CPP. Typical adhesions to VM-CPP are shown below. Customer should conduct their own adhesion comparison to ensure these materials meet their performance.
Applications
NUCREL™ AN4211-5C series resins adhere to a wide variety of materials. They are most often used to adhere to PE, EVA, Polyamide, ionomer, paper, aluminum foil, and printed films.
NUCREL™ AN4211-5C is designed for low melt temperature extrusion or coextrusion coating/laminating applications.
Common usage in Snack applications, as a OPP/VM-CPP tie layer.
