ELVAX™ 4260 is an ethylene-vinyl acetate / acid terpolymer resin for use in industrial applications.
Composition
- 28 % By Weight Vinyl Acetate comonomer content
- Also contains 1 wt% Methacrylic Acid
- Thermal Stabilizer: BHT antioxidant
Characteristics/Benefits
- High molecular weight resin for use in hot melt systems where improved adhesion to polar, nonporous substrates is required. In coatings, provides superior hot tack, improved grease resistance, and optimum barrier properties.
Applications
- ELVAX™ resins can be used in a variety of applications involving molding, compounding, extrusion, adhesives, sealants, and wax blends.
