BYNEL™ Series 3800 resins are anhydride-modified ethylene vinyl acetate polymers. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins.
Composition
- Low% By Weight Maleic Anhydride
- Graft levels are defined as:
- Low < 0.2%; Medium 0.2-0.5%; High 0.5-1.0%; Ultra high > 1.0%
Characteristics / Benefits
- Physical properties of most BYNEL™ Series 3800 resins are typical of EVA resins with similar density and melt index values.
Applications
- BYNEL™ 3810 is most often used in coextrusion of PS or HIPS to EVOH in barrier sheet for thermoforming.
