CHIMEI ECOLOGUE™ ABS, PC, and PC/ABS resins are produced using 50% to 70% post-consumer recycled content. The post-consumer recycled material is collected from clean and reliable recycle sources and goes through a shredding and separation process, followed by a washing and steaming process, followed by a second separation and sorting process before being pelletized and compounded. The ECOLOGUE™ products are available as a General-Purpose ABS, a Flame Retardant PC/ABS, a Flame Retardant PC, and a High Flow PC. Utilizing post-consumer recycled content can reduce carbon emissions within the entire value chain by 45% to 60% depending on the specific polymer type and PCR content.
CHIMEI ECOLOGUE™ PCR products contains post-consumer mechanically recycled content. CHIMEI’s expertise in ABS and PC production and recycling technologies ensures that ECOLOGUE™ products maintain the same exceptional mechanical properties as their virgin equivalents. In addition, these products are offered in natural, black, and white colors.
