In this technical article, we investigate the most commonly overlooked processing set points when launching new molds or troubleshooting existing tools. Establishing a fill only viscosity curve, determining nominal shear rate, and optimizing barrel heats/recovery profile allow for molders to run a repeatable and consistent cycle.
