Polycarbonate / ABS blends (PC/ABS) are amorphous blends that combine the best properties of both materials. PC provides the superior mechanical properties and heat resistance while ABS provides for excellent processability. PC/ABS offers high impact, high dimensional stability, good UV resistance, and excellent processability. PC/ABS is most commonly processed by injection, blow molding and extrusion.
Typical applications include interior and exterior automotive components and trim, business machine housings, cell phone and remote control housings, and electrical and electronic components.
