Methyl Methacrylate / ABS (MABS)

Methylmethacrylate acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (MABS) is a transparent, amorphous ABS that features the high clarity of PMMA with the good toughness of and stiffness of ABS. Key characteristics of MABS include excellent clarity, high impact resistance, good mechanical strength and stiffness, good resistance to heat deformation, good ESCR and chemical resistance, and easy processing.

MABS applications include office trays and bins, printer and copier parts, medical lures, medical vessels and housings, toys, aquarium accessories, appliance crisper drawers, cosmetic packaging, toothbrushes, and laminates for skis and snowboards.
